Black walnut spreader knife

9” x 0.75”

22cm x 1.80cm

Transform your Sunday brunch ritual or cheese tasting evenings with elegance thanks to our handmade black walnut spreader knife. This knife is perfect for accompanying your cheese platter or spreading on bread, honey, or any other morning treat. Made from a single piece of raw local maple, each knife is meticulously hand-cut to preserve its natural form and color. We use a natural and edible oil to protect the wood and ensure its durability. To maintain it, simply clean it with a damp cloth and oil it with a vegetable cooking oil using a paper towel every month.

Each knife is meticulously handmade by Bernard Lemieux, an experienced wood artisan with over 40 years of experience. His workshop, Atelier 54, is located in the neighboring village of Tingwick. We are committed to offering quality local products and highlighting the talent of our local artisans, like Bernard, by celebrating their unique and magical creations. Black walnut is a renowned hardwood for its longevity, which ensures that this knife will be an essential accessory for food lovers and epicureans.

By purchasing our black walnut spreader knife, you add a touch of magic and passion to your home while supporting local artisans and perpetuating ancestral know-how.
