Mabon: Mushrooms Ball - September 21, 2024

Enter a mystical world where mushrooms dance and summer gently gives way to autumn during Mabon, the Mushroom Festival, on September 21st. Join us at Magic Tingwick, 875 Warwick Road, Tingwick, for an enchanting day of celebrating the autumn equinox, from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Put on your finest black attire to honor the upcoming season and immerse yourself in a world where magic blends with nature. Explore the artisan market brimming with unique and authentic treasures, where each creation evokes the mysteries of the upcoming autumn.

Participate in a myriad of enchanting activities that will delight both young and old throughout the day. Unleash your creativity at the flowery pumpkin workshop, where you can prepare festive seasonal decorations under the benevolent gaze of nature spirits.

Children can have fun with the apple bobbing game in the water barrel and discover the art of creating their own enchanted terrarium. Don't miss the opportunity to capture magical memories with our photo booth featuring Fudge, our beloved black donkey, who seems straight out of a fairy tale.

Create your own autumn crown to adorn yourself with the colors to come, or make a magic wand to invoke the mysterious powers of the season. Be inspired by the art of creating magical masks and explore the secrets of the forest on a guided tour, where the trees whisper ancient stories.

Explore your mystical side at the workshop to learn palm reading, or let your imagination run wild with the creation of ephemeral forest art. Children can also participate in a workshop to sculpt a witch in an apple, bringing a touch of magic to autumn.

Come meet our adorable animals on-site, such as our mini pigs, mini goats, sheep, and chickens, who roam freely on the grounds. Don't forget to say hello to our rabbits, cats, our three majestic peacocks, as well as our sweet donkey Fudge and her companion, our zebra Oreo, who bring a touch of enchantment to our magical universe.

The evening ends beautifully with a masked ball in honor of the autumn equinox. Let yourself be carried away by enchanting music and fire-breathing performances, as we welcome the upcoming season with a sacred ritual, where the stars seem to dance in harmony with the flames of the fire.
